Transport Rates

OBJECTIVE

The Transport Rates option is used to establish an hourly rate or a rate per kilometre based on the number of axles and the region.

 

Various tables are usually created based on the type of material carried.

Creating Transport Rates

  1. Enter the required information:

Description

Table Number

Table number or name.

Material

Material for which the table applies.

  1. Enter the required information in the Hourly Rates tab:

Zone

Zone for which the rates apply.

NOTE: The zone is from Zone Management.

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Axles

Used to enter the hourly rate invoiced based on the number of axles in the vehicle.

NOTE: This rate is multiplied by the number of hours driven by the trucker.

  1. Enter the required information in the Ton-Kilometer Rates tab:

Zone

Zone for which the rates apply.

NOTE: The zone is from Zone Management.

Number of Axles

Allows to indicate a truck's number of axles.

NOTES: The available numbers are 0, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. The number 0 corresponds to a "non-specified" value, since it is not necessary to indicate a truck's number of axles in the Truck Management option.

The number 1 is not available since it is physically impossible for a truck to have a single axle.

From x to y Km

Rate applicable per kilometer.

NOTE: The rate is added from one column to the next. For example, Col1+col2+col3. Therefore, the content must include the difference added to the rate in column 1.

NOTE: The system displays the ranges created in KM Range Management.

  1. Click Save.
